Special Offerings

One Great Hour of Sharing

Since 1949 Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world. Your generous gifts to this Special Offering help provide relief those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and assist in helping to empower the poor and oppressed.

Your gift to One Great Hour of Sharing will support Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian Hunger Program, and Self-Development of People.  Gifts are received during the season of  Lent. However, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering by making an online gift at any time throughout the year.

Pentecost Offering

Giving to the Pentecost Offering makes it possible for the church to encourage, develop, and support its young people, and address the needs of at-risk children. A large portion of this offering can be retained by individual congregations wanting to make an impact in the lives of young people within their own community.

Your gifts to the Pentecost Offering help support young adult volunteers, ministries for youth, and child advocacy.  The Pentecost Offering is traditionally received on the day of Pentecost. However, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the Pentecost Offering by making an online gift at any time throughout the year.

Peacemaking Offering

The Peacemaking Offering supports national the PC(USA) Peacemaking Program as well as many programs and ministries at both the Presbytery and congregation levels.

The Peacemaking Offering is traditionally received  on World Communion Sunday.  However, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the Peacemaking Offering by making an online gift during the Season of Peace or at any time throughout the year.

Christmas Joy Offering

The Christmas Joy Offering supports the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions as well as the development of racial-ethnic church leadership.  Whether providing financial assistance to current and former church workers and their families or providing opportunities for deserving students to attend Presbyterian-related racial ethnic colleges and schools, your gifts to the Christmas Joy Offering will shine the One True Light of Christ's love.

The Christmas Joy Offering is traditionally received during the Advent Season.  However, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the Christmas Joy Offering by making an online gift at any time throughout the year.
